Expertise: Fred has a strong and lengthy background in taxation and financial concepts which has driven him to respond to clients' needs in many financial areas including: retirement, taxes, college planning, insurance, investments and business solutions.
The firm uses a team approach to provide complete financial solutions, using eight common wealth management issues, to its family and business owner clients. The firm's mission is to help clients establish, grow and protect wealth, giving them the time and resources to enjoy life as they wish.
Fred earned a degree in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and New York State. He holds the designations of Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and Certified Tax Resolution Specialist. He became a financial advisor and Investment Advisor Representative with Avantax in 1996 and holds series 6, 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses and is insurance licensed in several states. He has owned his own firm and led his team since 1978, with offices in both Florida and New York State.
Fred is a proud member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers and is a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist. He is an expert in tax negotiation and mediation.
He is a member of American Institute of CPAs, Florida Institute of CPAs, Financial Planning Association and the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce. Fred has taught accounting and taxation and is a frequent speaker and presenter to various local organizations.
